Your Opportunities
Main Tasks:
- Perform Microbiological analysis and related activities as per SOP’s followed in Microbiology laboratory.
- Conduct microbiological analysis independently as per the testing schedule or as an when assigned by In-charge of Microbiology or deputy.
- Participate in the qualification activities of lab equipment’s, water system and clean rooms.
- To Follow Good documentation practice to maintain accurate and precise data in an organized, legible, and consistent manner.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as required by SOP and testing procedures.
- Able to handle microbial cultures and hazardous chemicals adequately and safely.
- Communicate to In-charge of Microbiology if deviation, out of specification results, out of trend results and anomalies found during the analysis and at the time of results observation.
- To Participate in an investigation of OOS results of microbiological analysis.
- Sampling and testing of water samples, compressed air, viable count monitoring samples, raw material, Packing material and finished product.
- Perform microbial limit test for raw material and finished product.
- Perform total viable count & specified microorganisms on purified water & potable water samples.
- Preparation of trends for water analysis, environmental monitoring and compressed air monitoring.
- Maintain microbial cultures as per sequential subculture procedure.
- Media preparation, sterilization and perform growth promotion test, media disposition.
- Maintain and update the stock record of media, microbial cultures, consumables.
- Participate in the internal audits and regulatory audits and ensure compliance to the corrective and preventive actions.
- To initiate change controls, deviations, CAPA’s etc or other quality system documents whenever required.
- Perform BET and Sterility testing of samples.
- To follow GxP practices, in premises with awareness of data integrity.
- To ensure safe work practices, availability and usage of recommended PPE during activity.
- Ensure compliance to EHS policy and its requirements.
Who You Are
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Microbiology
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience is preferred.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
