Main tasks
- Leading first-instance enforcement proceedings against licensed institutions, individual members of their bodies or employees, and against unauthorized companies
- Editing orders
- Deploying and supervising FINMA agents
- Conducting hearings
- Coordinating proceedings with authorities at home and abroad
- Representing FINMA in proceedings before the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court, especially editing corresponding statements
- Collaborating on internal projects
Profile
- Law degree from a Swiss university and bar admission; additional training (e.g., dissertation or LL.M.) is an advantage
- At least 5 years of professional experience in litigation and procedural management or in the financial industry
- Very good professional and academic qualifications
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking, and pronounced synthesis ability
- Team player with an independent working style
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident oral and written German skills, very good English and French skills
