The Lavaux Hospital is a private foundation recognized as a public interest, member of the Federation of Vaud Hospitals. Located in Cully (Bourg-en-Lavaux) amidst the vineyards, close to public transport, the school, and the Lavaux daycare.
In our palliative care unit, caregivers, doctors, and the entire interdisciplinary team strive to value the time left to live. Each contributes their knowledge and skills, motivated by values such as respect for the patient, their choices, their dignity, in a spirit of authenticity, listening, and availability.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for our palliative care service:
A specialized palliative care nurse at 80% (m/f)
Mission
- Welcome the patient and their relatives
- Participate in the development and evaluation of the patient care plan
- Ensure monitoring of the patient’s progress to provide appropriate care in all circumstances.
- Support relatives according to their needs and the difficulties they encounter during hospitalization
- Participate in the supervision and evaluation of students and interns and the integration of new employees
- Actively contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork
- Actively contribute to the quality and safety of patients
Profile sought
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent recognized title), CAS/DAS in palliative care is an asset
- Expertise in managing symptoms and bio-psycho-social and spiritual dimensions
- Adherence to the values of the concept such as respect, dignity, authenticity, listening, and availability
- Strong communication skills
- A sense of interdisciplinary teamwork
- Comfortable using computer tools
