What you achieve
- Development, expansion, and maintenance of embedded software in C/C++ under Linux for modern access control systems
- Design and implementation of device drivers as well as Linux kernel modules
- Creation of Board Support Packages (BSP) with Yocto / Buildroot
- Co-design of system architecture and optimization of performance and security for embedded Linux platforms
- Conducting low-level debugging and analysis (GDB, Wireshark, Logic Analyzer) to ensure highest stability
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Docker) for automated builds, tests, and deployments
- Ensuring code quality and embedded security (Clean Code)
- Close collaboration with hardware, test, and software teams to integrate complex features and system components
What you bring
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable field
- Very good knowledge of C/C++ for performance-critical applications under Linux
- Very good knowledge of embedded Linux including Yocto / Buildroot (kernel, drivers, BSP)
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS) and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Docker)
- Very good German and good English skills
