What you achieve

Development, expansion, and maintenance of embedded software in C/C++ under Linux for modern access control systems
Design and implementation of device drivers as well as Linux kernel modules
Creation of Board Support Packages (BSP) with Yocto / Buildroot
Co-design of system architecture and optimization of performance and security for embedded Linux platforms
Conducting low-level debugging and analysis (GDB, Wireshark, Logic Analyzer) to ensure highest stability
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Docker) for automated builds, tests, and deployments
Ensuring code quality and embedded security (Clean Code)
Close collaboration with hardware, test, and software teams to integrate complex features and system components

What you bring

Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable field
Very good knowledge of C/C++ for performance-critical applications under Linux
Very good knowledge of embedded Linux including Yocto / Buildroot (kernel, drivers, BSP)
Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS) and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Practical experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Docker)
Very good German and good English skills
