Your new role

As a company manager, you bear overall responsibility for the operational, personnel, and financial management of the St.Gallen municipal utilities. You implement the existing long-term corporate strategy in the interest of the owner and develop the company in the context of the energy transition, digitalization, and increasing market liberalization together with the strategic management team in a targeted manner. You ensure an economical, sustainable, and customer-oriented supply and actively drive forward pioneering projects – especially in the field of renewable energies and modern energy services – with targeted cooperation. In doing so, you work closely with municipal departments, represent the municipal utilities vis-à-vis politics, authorities, partners, and the public, and promote a modern, performance-oriented, and appreciative corporate culture.

This position is for you if you

• have a university degree (ETH/Uni/FH) in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field;
• have several years of management experience at the executive level, ideally in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector;
• are motivated to pursue long-term goals with your team in a complex business environment in a focused and goal-oriented manner;
• have successfully collaborated with political bodies and public institutions;
• convince through high social competence, communication skills, decisiveness, and teamwork.
