Portrait of the School/Institution
The Special Education School Lyss is a day school for children and adolescents with intellectual or multiple disabilities. We teach around 115 students in 18 classes (from primary to upper and orientation levels) aged between 4 and 18 years.
For the development of our new organizational structure, we are looking for a committed personality as

Tasks
Personnel and professional leadership of cross-level services (specialist teachers, therapists, AAC specialist unit) as well as school-complementary services (midday supervision, day school, school bus accompaniment)
Contact person for external cross-school services (swimming, occupational therapy, religion)
Close cooperation with management and within the executive board
Co-responsibility for the implementation and further development of the educational concept
Employment, leadership, and development of employees in own area
Responsibility for area and level meetings as well as training days
Coordination of therapy planning and student transport with the external provider
Conceptual further development of the area
Requirements
Educational or therapeutic basic training at tertiary level
Further training in the areas of pedagogy, therapy, leadership, communication, etc.
Several years of pedagogical and/or therapeutic experience
Resilience and constructive communication skills
High team spirit and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration
