Your role at Globalance

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the executive board, you are the architect of our scaling. You build the technological foundation on which the bank of the future grows.

For this, we are not looking for a classic COO role, but an entrepreneurial leader who combines operational excellence, technology, and implementation power – and is eager to rethink a bank. Your focus is on operationalizing complex topics, from process automation to data and AI initiatives to the further development of our digital platforms. You work closely with the CEO and are a central co-designer of our platform strategy. Success for us means turning strategy into functioning platforms, complexity into scalable processes, and data into measurable customer benefits.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Strategic responsibility and transformation

• Overall responsibility for the Operations area: You actively drive the transformation of the bank into a digitized and data-driven organization.
• You have a high degree of creative freedom and significantly shape structures, priorities, and technological decisions.
• Sparring partner for the executive board to design an inspiring customer experience through innovative digital solutions.
• Leadership of a specialized team in the areas of Legal, Compliance, and Technology as well as management of external partners.

Project management Globalance World

• Technical project responsibility for the further development of our digital AI platform Globalance World.
• Integration of new features such as portfolio upload, AI-supported content, and impact metrics (climate/footprint/megatrends).
• You ensure that Globalance World does not remain a pure IT project but functions as a strategic differentiator for customers and new business models.

Process digitization & Data Leadership

• Analysis and optimization of processes across all areas (Investment Center, Client Services, Marketing) using modern automation tools.
• Leading data science initiatives and developing scalable data architectures as well as ML models.
• The goal is to translate data into real decision-making and impact advantages and to strengthen operational resilience.

YOUR PERSONALITY

• Experience: Several years of practice in technology and operations in Swiss banking, FinTech, or growth companies.
• Tech stack: Solid knowledge in data architecture (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Python) as well as experience with AI solutions.
• Mindset: Hands-on, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial thinking with a strong implementation orientation.
• Advantage: Your playing field: A modern data stack architecture without legacy burdens.
• Qualification: Completed studies (economics, computer science, engineering) and excellent communication in German and English.
