For the new NCCR Muoniverse, we are looking for a

Your tasks

Measurements of muonic X-rays from low-Z elements within the QUARTET collaboration

Operation and further development of a metallic magnetic calorimeter MMC onsite at PSI

Studies for the use of the MMC across various fields ranging from elemental analysis to radiochemistry

Your profile

Completed PhD degree in physics or a closely related field

Experience with particle physics experiments at large facilities is a plus

Good communication skills in English
