Mercanto, as part of the Pistor Group, is an independent Swiss B2B marketplace for professionals from the food, non-food, and healthcare sectors. Now you have the chance to help write Mercanto's success story.

Your Tasks

Overall responsibility (Product Ownership) for existing and future Mercanto apps (Android & iOS)

Structured collection, analysis, and use case definition of requirements for app functionalities (Requirements Engineering)

Central interface between internal departments, external stakeholders, and development partners

Collection, evaluation, and prioritization of requirements and project specifications

Coordination of the operational and technical operation of the Mercanto apps

Solving complex operational and application problems in collaboration with support

Supporting Mercanto support in building knowledge about the Mercanto apps

Ensuring the quality standards of the Mercanto apps

Collecting and evaluating customer and market needs to further develop the Mercanto app landscape

Your Profile

Degree in business informatics or comparable education

Further training in Scrum / Product Ownership, interest in UI/UX & mobile app design

Experience with e-commerce or e-procurement systems

Familiar with agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and the DevOps approach

Confident in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)

Motivated to understand and help shape B2B processes and business contexts

Knowledge in CI/CD and test automation is an advantage

Experience collaborating with mobile app developers and managing mobile app projects (iOS & Android)

Team- and solution-oriented personality

Strong communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders

Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good to very good English skills
