To strengthen our team in the flat roof sector, we are looking for a foreman:in flat roof / liquid plastic 80 – 100 % immediately or by arrangement:

The Guggisberg Dachtechnik AG is the Bern specialist for building envelopes and energy-efficient renovations. With all competencies around roofs, facades, and energy, we accompany new construction projects or make existing buildings fit for the future – from single-family homes to commercial complexes. Our company is one of the leading in this industry and employs around 110 staff.

Your main tasks

• You are responsible for independently clarifying needs and executing orders in consultation with the project manager and the client
• On site, you lead the construction site and coordinate the plumbing and flat roof work regarding renovations and new constructions and represent the project manager at construction meetings
• The independent installation of fall protection as well as the adherence to and implementation of the occupational safety regulations fall within your area of responsibility
• You perform general flat roof work such as demolition work, welding of bituminous and plastic sealing membranes, coating and sealing with liquid plastic including connections, laying garden slabs, and installing skylights

Your profile

• You have completed basic training as a sealant EFZ, further training as a group/object manager is an advantage
• You can demonstrate experience in a comparable role and recognize the interfaces to other trades
• You recognize phase-appropriate planning steps and are independent in implementation
• You know the common SIA standards and their implementation
• You are conscientious, strong in communication, have a pronounced team spirit, and already have leadership experience
• You are interested in further developing your professional skills
• You have good German language skills and hold a category B driver's license
