Responsibilities

• Professional leadership and coordination of employees in quality control across all production areas
• Ensuring product, process and hygiene standards in the production area in compliance with legal, customer-related and IFS requirements
• Monitoring, controlling and evaluating the documentation of all CCP, oPRP and quality inspection points (QPs), especially regarding metal detection, heating processes, weight and temperature controls
• Planning, conducting and evaluating hygiene, cleaning and verification controls as well as initiating necessary corrective actions
• Conducting regular plant inspections to check GMP, hygiene and quality requirements and following up on established corrections and corrective actions
• Performing and documenting traceability checks and ensuring the availability of all required evidence and documentation
• Creating, analysing and presenting quality-relevant key figures, evaluations and reports, especially on quality indicators, blocked stocks, plant inspections and process deviations (internal errors)
• Supporting and assisting internal and external audits (IFS, customer and authority audits) as well as monitoring and following up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures
• Obtaining, reviewing and evaluating declarations of conformity and regulatory evidence for food contact materials

Profile

• Completed training in food technology, quality control or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in quality assurance/quality control, ideally in the petfood or food environment
• Proven experience in assessing declarations of conformity, normative requirements and plant-related risk analyses
• Strong assertiveness, clear communication and high decision-making ability in the factory environment
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
• Structured, analytical and responsible working style with high precision and resilience
