To support the Head of the Mechanical Workshop, we are looking for a
Maintenance Specialist (m/f/d) as Deputy Head of Mechanical Workshop
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the head in the personnel management of the entire workshop
- Supporting the head in coordinating and scheduling the deployment of plant mechanics as well as maintaining technical documentation
- Co-responsible for the continuous improvement of workflows and the modernization of the workshop
- Active participation in maintenance (servicing, upkeep, repair) of machines and equipment in the exciting environment of the chemical production and infrastructure sector
- Advising internal departments on maintenance matters
Your Profile
- Completed basic mechanical training EFZ (polymechanic maintenance)
- Further training as a maintenance specialist or maintenance manager
- Several years of professional experience as a plant mechanic with initial leadership experience
- Assertiveness and sensitivity in dealing with people
- Structured working and a calm demeanor are among your strengths
- Service mentality, flexibility, resilience, initiative, and ability to work in a team
- German spoken and written (native language)
- Willingness to perform on-call duty
- Very good PC skills; experience with maintenance software is an advantage
- Experience with repairs of equipment (pumps, centrifuges, etc.) is an advantage
