Assistant Physician at the Outpatient Psychiatry Unit of Nyon
The Western Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAO) is looking for an assistant physician at an 80% activity rate, for the Couple and Family Consultation Unit (UCCF) located in Nyon, as part of the rotation. The starting date is scheduled for November 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Western Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAO) is a recognized institution (A1) for FMH training in psychiatry and psychotherapy. The Outpatient Psychiatry Unit of Nyon is a multidisciplinary structure that cares for patients presenting a wide range of mental disorders. The team develops a therapeutic approach centered on the patient, their environment, and continuity of care, in close collaboration with the regional network.
Mission
- You conduct couple and family psychotherapies, in co-therapy with a psychologist or individually according to the service's needs
- You promote an interdisciplinary approach in care, both within the unit and with care network partners
- You participate in hospital on-call duty or standby service according to your position.
Profile
- You hold a federal medical diploma or an equivalent title recognized by MEBEKO
- You are familiar with the CHUV environment and ideally the Department of Psychiatry
- You have at least one year of experience in psychiatry
- You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
- You demonstrate an interest in the systemic approach
- You are organized and able to work independently under supervision
- You master the French language (minimum B2 level required).
