About the job

• Be responsible for and coordinate the research field "Critical Knowledge Design" at the Institute of Design Research IDR in terms of content, personnel, and organization
• Support researchers in the mentioned research field as well as doctoral candidates in the SINTA doctoral program and establish your own research topics and methods
• Actively participate in the strategic development of the institute as part of the IDR management team and contribute to the content development of the BA Transformation Design
• Teach students in the BA Transformation Design program, supervise student projects, and participate as a member of the suitability assessment and examination committee

• University degree with a doctorate in Digital Humanities, Critical Knowledge Design or similar with proven experience in applied design research
• Solid knowledge of the Swiss and international educational landscape in the field of design as well as digital sustainability with proven experience in the development, acquisition, and management of application-oriented research projects
• Team-oriented personality with several years of teaching experience at the university level in the relevant subject area and enthusiasm for conveying content to students in a practical and inspiring way
• Fluent language skills in German and English, French is an advantage
