- Overall culinary responsibility for all 6 gastronomic restaurants on the campus
- Development and implementation of creative, varied, and economical menus for different concepts (from self-service to à la carte, including catering)
- Leadership, motivation, and development of the entire kitchen team across multiple outlets, including patisserie (4 direct reports, approximately 30 employees in total)
- Ensuring high quality standards in production, presentation, and taste
- Proactive involvement in the development of new gastronomic concepts and special promotions
- Support for events and special occasions on the campus
- Completed training as a cook EFZ with further training as a head chef or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position as well as proven leadership experience
- Strong business thinking and acting
- Very good IT skills and flawless German language skills, both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team orientation
- Passion for the cooking profession, organizational talent, and a high sense of responsibility

At the Novartis Campus in Basel, our host team with around 160 employees delights about 2,400 guests daily.
Through the in-house catering offer, there is also the possibility to order snacks and drinks for meetings or aperitifs.
Regular company events and special occasions with up to 1,500 guests take place.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (according to duty roster). Evening shifts are possible depending on workload.
