Your future area of responsibility
- Acceptance of event inquiries and independent creation of offers and contracts using Microsoft Word and Opera Cloud
- Proactive sale of conference and banquet rooms to achieve optimal
- occupancy and profitability as well as high guest satisfaction
- Professional advice on room and time planning as well as menu and beverage selection for our guests
- House tours and other sales activities with customers
- Detailed coordination with customers and creation of function sheets
- Coordination with other departments to ensure optimal execution of events
- Creation and control of invoices and accounts receivable
- Various administrative tasks and data maintenance
- Support of the banquet team at large and special events
- You report directly to the Director of Meeting & Events
Your profile
- A completed training in hospitality and/or gastronomy, possibly even a degree from a recognized hotel management school or an equivalent qualification
- Initial experience in the reservation or event department and familiarity with common event formats
- In dealing with guests, superiors, and colleagues, you demonstrate charm, social competence, and an authentic, natural friendliness
- You can score points with your open, communicative, and friendly personality
- You enjoy teamwork
- You possess solid administrative skills (MS Office and Opera)
- You have a flair for room planning and interest in the latest trends in event technology
- You speak and write fluent German and English; French and any other language are an advantage
- Organizational talent, negotiation skills, and reliability complete your profile
