Senior Product Specialist AgriBusiness (m/f/d)

Location: Home - Office remote / Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary

You will be working in the area of Thermo Fisher Scientific's genotyping solutions in agrigenomics. In addition, you will also support Thermo Fisher Scientific's animal health portfolio, which includes nucleic acid extraction kits, qPCR master mixes, qPCR kits, and ELISA kits. This is a growing business area where Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a wide range of solutions optimally tailored to customer needs, e.g., microarray technologies in genomics and qPCR kits in animal health.

Your tasks:

• Develop, implement, and track operational plans to achieve business goals in the geographic area of responsibility.
• Increase market penetration of the company's genotyping and animal health solutions by collaborating with team members, marketing, and global business units.
• Collaborate with local distributors and sales teams from other divisions to identify and develop potential new business areas.
• Customer visits:  Germany (western part), Austria, Switzerland

Your key to success:

• Master's degree in molecular biology or related field (PhD is a plus)
• Experience in genetics and molecular biology
• Strong networking skills
• Experience with demanding sales processes and customer orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, good English skills in spoken and written form
• Territory planning, communication, and forecasting (sales and demand)
