As a building manager, you take responsibility for an important property in the heart of Bern and, together with your team, ensure that people can work every day in a functioning, well-maintained and pleasant environment.
What to expect
- You take overall responsibility for a property and ensure smooth operations.
- You lead, support and develop your team and foster a respectful and successful collaboration.
- You are the first point of contact for our customers and maintain trusting relationships.
- You recognise the needs of the customer, act proactively and ensure a high level of service quality.
- You coordinate and monitor infrastructural and technical services and ensure that all services are provided on time and to a high standard.
- You handle complaints and fault reports in a solution-oriented manner and initiate the necessary measures.
- You plan and coordinate maintenance, repair and minor renovation work.
- You work closely with various stakeholders and actively support cross-departmental collaboration.
What you bring
- You have completed vocational training, ideally in a technical, craft or service-oriented environment.
- You have experience in leading employees and know how to promote and motivate people.
- You impress with your strong customer and service orientation.
- You listen, understand different perspectives and treat people with empathy and respect.
- You work independently, in a structured way and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
- You think ahead, recognise the need for action early and tackle tasks proactively.
- You are open to new things, eager to learn and appreciate exchange with your team.
- You communicate confidently in German and present yourself assuredly and engagingly.
