About the job
SONCEBOZ is an industrial group, a world leader in the field of mechatronic drive systems. Within our highly integrated group, electronic solutions are designed, industrialized, and produced internally, in direct connection with the mechatronic teams and the sites based in Boncourt and Sonceboz-Sombeval.
In a context of growth in the Commercial Vehicles Division, driven by the development of new mechatronic systems dedicated to the electrification of auxiliary functions (electric power steering, compressor, eMPTO), our client is strengthening its electronic software engineering team. The goal is to participate in the design of increasingly complex embedded electronic architectures and to ensure project follow-up from the RFQ phase to series commissioning for international clients.
Integrated into a team of 8 engineers, you will work on the development of embedded software solutions for mechatronic systems intended for commercial vehicles.
As such, your main responsibilities are:
· Design and develop low-level embedded software in C language for motor applications.
· Participate in the configuration and programming of microcontrollers as well as the integration of smart electronic components.
· Develop and maintain standardized software blocks, including bootloaders, in Autosar or non-Autosar environments.
· Contribute to development activities according to the V-cycle, from design to validation, in connection with project teams.
· Participate in key project phases: development, validation, industrialization, and customer support.
· Perform tests, analyses, and debugging, including during the production phase.
· Analyze datasheets, electronic schematics, and system architectures to ensure hardware/software coherence.
· Interact with international clients during technical workshops, integrations, and testing phases.
· Embedded software development in C.
· Experience with microcontrollers and embedded architectures.
· Knowledge of Autosar / non-Autosar environments.
· Mastery of communication buses (CAN) and MISRA coding rules.
Ability to analyze datasheets, electronic schematics, and system architectures.
Graduate of an engineering school (or equivalent) in electronics, embedded systems, or mechatronics.
Ideally, you have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in embedded electronic development in a demanding industrial environment.
