Senior Physician

• As a senior physician, you take over the professional leadership of the interdisciplinary treatment team on the ward, together with the nursing ward management in a partnership-based dual leadership.
• You ensure the therapeutic and medical care of patients together with the assistant physicians and psychologists.
• You continuously develop the concepts and orientation of the ward together with the senior physician team and the nursing management.
• You accompany and promote the assigned assistant physicians and assistant psychologists through structured training and regular supervision.

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and are interested in the focus on geriatric psychiatry (we are happy to support you in obtaining the title).
• You have experience in acute and emergency psychiatry as well as in the treatment of psychotic disorders.
• You enjoy working with patients, take responsibility, and make well-founded decisions independently.
• You feel comfortable in a multiprofessional team and appreciate collaboration on an equal footing.
• You enjoy working with patients and a recovery-oriented attitude is a matter of course for you.
• You have a professional practice license from the canton of St.Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Very good German skills (at least level C1) complete your profile.
