Tender Engineer – High Voltage Bushings Transformers 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

About the Position

Our local product group Insulation & Components is a technology leader in the development and manufacturing of high voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies active in power generation, transmission, and distribution count among our customers. With our high voltage bushings, we hold a leading position worldwide and support our customers with their specific requirements and needs throughout the entire product lifecycle.

We are looking for a personality from the field of electrical engineering/power engineering to strengthen our Tender Engineering team, who will support us in developing customer-specific solutions in a dynamic environment in the area of transformer bushings.

What You Can Achieve

• Analyze customer specifications and translate them into product requirements for a customer-specific solution

• Design the bushing considering design guidelines and international standards including risk assessment

• Review and ensure the technical solution through simulations

• Develop a competitive solution considering all costs for our customers

• Support the sales team with technical clarifications and questions during the tender phase

• Collaborate interdisciplinarily (Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Execution, Project Management)

• Perceive customer and market needs, recognize market trends, provide input for new developments

• Contribute improvements in the tender process for customer-specific solutions to sustainably increase efficiency and effectiveness

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree (FH) in Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in the field of networks, energy systems, and high voltage components is an advantage

• Proficient use of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage

• Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as good English skills

• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment in cross-departmental collaboration in an international environment

• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner

• Team player with high self-motivation and solution-oriented working style

• Ambitious personality who wants to make a difference

• Travel activity 5-10% max
