We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Flow Meter) to help shape the next generation of Coriolis flow sensors at Endress+Hauser Flow. As part of our expert team in Reinach, Switzerland, you have the freedom to work creatively and independently across a broad range of tasks – in a very team-oriented environment where collaboration and innovation go hand in hand. If so, this role offers you the opportunity to develop, test, and improve our Coriolis flow sensors in close collaboration with colleagues from research & development, quality assurance, and production. You will work directly in our development team at the production center in Reinach and practically contribute to shaping sensor technology that sets industry standards.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Develop flow sensors in the field of Coriolis sensor development
- Design sensors and build prototypes
- Test and qualify prototypes with internal and external systems
- Be responsible for product improvements, including root cause investigations
- Define test requirements
- Ensure that the sensor design complies with relevant international standards (compliance, metrological standards, pressure approval)
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have a degree in mechanical engineering (university of applied sciences, technical university, ETH) or a comparable qualification
- Training as a mechanic, designer, and/or further education as a technician in mechanical engineering is an advantage
- Bring professional experience in industrial sensor technology and/or process and automation technology as well as knowledge in project management, preferably
- Have experience in CAD design (ideally with Creo Parametric), preferably
- Are proficient in German and English, both spoken and written, at a very good level
- Work quickly, are well organized and independent, and have strong communication skills
