The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.

For our interdisciplinary Intensive Care Unit we are looking for a Deputy Head of Nursing Intensive Care Unit as of May 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Your Tasks

Personnel and organizational management of the department in the absence of the head
Participation in project groups to further develop nursing quality
Involvement in the development of new standards and process optimization
Nursing and care of our critically ill patients
Implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic measures

Your Profile

Completed training as an Expert in Intensive Care Nursing NDS HF and corresponding professional experience
Leadership training or willingness to complete it
Enjoyment of interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
High patient orientation and social competence
