Do you feel like a city school with a village character? For one of our two basic levels (kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade) we are looking for a basic level team.

The school unit LeGo includes the two locations Lerchenfeld and Goldiwil in Thun. The approximately 350 students are taught in 3 kindergartens, 11 primary classes and 2 basic level classes by about 50 teachers. Your workplace is the Lerchenfeld location.

Tasks
• Ideally, you lead a basic level at the Lerchenfeld location in a two-person team.
• The division of focus areas can be determined in consultation within the team according to your own strengths and passions.
• You design learning environments that correspond to the developmental level of the students and that ensure both playful activities and task-oriented learning.
• Committed collaboration, conversations with parents, teachers and specialist offices
Requirements
You preferably have a primary teaching certificate or a Bachelor in Primary Education or a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education or you are in training for it.
You bring experience in cycle 1 (basic level, kindergarten and/or 1st/2nd grade).
You are convinced of the pedagogy of mixed-age learning and have a positive attitude towards integrative teaching methods. A good relationship with the students and their everyday life is important to you. You look forward to working in the class team and with a committed faculty. Rituals in teaching as well as a clearly structured class management are important to you.
You enjoy working in a team and appreciate open and regular exchange.
You are committed, motivated, independent and responsible.
You act consistently.
You are willing to work closely with school social work and the day school.
You contribute to school and quality development.
You attend meetings, which mainly take place on Tuesdays.
