Would you like to take care of our guests at the forefront?
At the Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac, the reception is the alpha & omega of the action. The first & last contacts of the guests run through this position. The FRONT DESK is in direct contact with our guests, the BACK OFFICE handles the various requests behind the scenes.
Tasks
Our employees at the reception work at the front desk and back office.
Contacts with potential guests and regular customers until arrival at the hotel by phone, email
- Answering inquiries & providing information of all kinds,
- Sales of our special offers and our hotel
- Check-in, operation of the electronic platform for customer management
- Introducing guests to our beautiful rooms, the
- restaurants, the swimming pool and the secrets of the hotel, which should make every stay in the hotel unforgettable
- Check-out:
- Billing, collection, survey about the stay, farewell
Requirements
We are looking for an upbeat, optimistic, communicative young personality with the following additional qualities:
° Solid basic training with a focus on hospitality
° Several years of experience in a first-class hotel in Switzerland at the reception
° Swiss citizen or C-permit holder
° Cheerful, natural charisma with the ability to respond to the needs of the demanding clientele
° Team player, loyalty to superiors and colleagues
° Flexibility, precision and love of order at the workplace
° Ability to accept criticism and learn and to keep a cool head even in hectic situations (in addition to the air conditioning!)
Languages
- Italian and German spoken and written (ideally bilingual: I/D or D/I)
- Very good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of French
- Additional languages are an advantage (e.g. Spanish, Arabic)
