We are looking for a motivated operations manager with extensive experience in the recycling, construction, or industrial sectors and a natural leadership ability. You will be an integral part of our team, promoting innovative approaches to improve efficiency and development in the recycling sector.
We are searching for a dedicated operations manager who has extensive experience in the recycling, construction, or industrial sectors and brings natural leadership qualities. You will be a key part of our team, driving innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and sustainable development in the recycling business.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for the internal operational processes from a technical, organizational, and personnel perspective and supervise about ten employees. You will focus on the following main tasks:
- Plan and monitor production, including resource and personnel utilization
- Develop staff and initiate training or continuing education
- Capture and evaluate key production figures
- Monitor and, if necessary, optimize all production, storage, and sorting processes.
- Close exchange of information with sales teams, technical teams, and other specialized areas
- Ensure quality, safety, and profitability
- Maintain quality, safety, and profitability objectives.
- Participate in daily activities and support the team
- Exchange at the group level with the respective operations managers.
Your tasks
You take responsibility for internal operational processes in a technical, organizational, and personnel sense and maintain an overview of around 10 employees. You will focus on the following main tasks:
- Plan and monitor production, including resource and personnel utilization
- Develop staff and initiate training or continuing education
- Capture and evaluate key production figures
- Monitor and, if necessary, optimize all production, storage, and sorting processes
- Close exchange of information with sales, technical, and other specialized areas
- Ensure quality, safety, and profitability according to the manual
- Maintain quality and safety standards as well as profitability
- Assist in daily business and support the team
- Exchange at the group level with the respective operations managers
Your profile
- Completed basic technical training
- Fluent in French and good knowledge of German
- Further training, for example in the field of processes/organization or technology/production, is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes and inventory management
- Several years of experience in leading and training employees from diverse backgrounds and training (a significant advantage).
- A good understanding of administration is a great advantage.
- Strong initiative and ability to act independently and responsibly
- Down-to-earth and at the same time a strong willingness to change
- Availability and ability to travel (within the sites of French-speaking Switzerland)
- Knowledge of machines (forklift license, excavator) is an advantage
- Good physical condition
