Supply Chain and Change Specialist 80 – 100 % (f/m/d)

Hamilton Storage develops, produces and distributes robots for the storage of up to ten million compounds for pharmaceutical companies. We also build robots to store biological substances at temperatures up to -80 degree Celsius, which are used for biobanks in clinical research.
How you can make a difference:
Responsible for the entire procurement process within the assigned purchasing area
Serve as the interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers
Maintain and manage relationships with existing suppliers
Conduct negotiations regarding price, quality, and logistical aspects
Actively and proactively manage lot sizes and safety stock levels
Ensure delivery dates are met and communicate any deviations from planned requirements to the relevant departments
Handle quality notifications and follow-up actions
Maintain system parameters in the ERP system
Responsible for supplier evaluation
Handle supplier complaints and follow-up actions
Ensure LLE, HS codes, Country of Origin (CoO), REACH, and RoHS information are current for all suppliers
Support master data and change management processes
That’s what you bring along:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement operations, or master data management
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics sector (optional depending on role)
- Experience in operational and/or strategic procurement processes
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management
- Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements
- Familiarity with demand planning, purchase order creation, and follow-up
- Ability to monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, cost) and implement corrective actions
- Understanding of supply chain workflows and inventory management principles
