The Office for Financial Services is responsible for the cantonal accounting. It supports the decentralized accounting offices in all questions related to accounting and ensures uniform implementation. Furthermore, it manages the canton’s assets, is responsible for payment transactions, conducts the technical planning process, and prepares both the accounting year-end and the cantonal financial publications. Additionally, the office supports the state financial and logistics applications.
To complement our payment transactions team, we are looking for you as of now or by agreement as
Clerk Payment Transactions (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- You post incoming payments from all banks and process QR/ESR payments
- You record, check, and process invoices in the creditor workflow
- You account and post general ledger and transfer documents
- You create individual and mass invoices and support dunning and debt collection
- You answer telephone and written inquiries and perform administrative tasks
- You support first-level support for the decentralized cantonal accounting offices
- You participate in projects to automate and optimize processes
What distinguishes you
- Completed commercial vocational training EFZ, supplemented by function-specific further training (e.g., accounting clerk)
- Enjoyment of accounting and interest in financial processes
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Flexibility and willingness to cover vacation and sick leave
- High IT affinity, ideally experience with SAP FI and SAP SD
- Quick availability and enthusiasm for project work
- Open-minded, service-oriented personality
