Our Digital Solutions department is responsible for all IT procurement, evaluations, project work, as well as the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure for over 2000 employees. It manages a standardized IT environment for around 50 branch offices of the directorate.
To strengthen our datacenter team, we are immediately looking for a team-oriented and committed individual as a proactive support in system administration.
Your tasks include
- Handling incidents, requests, problems, and changes
- Managing the MS infrastructure (AD, GPO, DNS, PowerShell scripts, RDS, Windows Server OS 2019, 2022 & 2025)
- Operating the Commvault backup infrastructure
- Managing the Triumph Adler printer server, Scan2Folder, and Scan2Mail infrastructure
- Managing file server access as well as granting and modifying permissions
- Collaborating on datacenter infrastructure topics
- On-call duty for the operation of the datacenter infrastructure
- Cooperation with internal and external parties
- Participation in projects
You bring:
- Completed basic training (EFZ) supplemented by further education in the mentioned specialist areas
- High sense of responsibility when handling highly sensitive data and services
- At least 3 years of experience as a system administrator in a datacenter
- Very good knowledge in the area of MS services
- Good knowledge in VMware virtualization
- MS SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Commvault backup and knowledge of Triumph Adler MYQ and ScanVision products are an advantage
- Linux knowledge would be a plus
- Very good German and professional English skills
