Then you are in the right place with us! The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) informs, advises, and supports the population of the canton of Zurich on topics related to family, profession, and career. It provides various services decentrally in several child and youth welfare centers (kjz) and career information centers (biz). The Department of Social Work and Mandates fulfills tasks across the entire scope of statutory and voluntary youth and family assistance. We support children, adolescents, and parents in addressing and solving their individual questions and problems. For this, we often work in a network of interdisciplinary service providers.
For the kjz Kloten, we are looking for immediate or agreed-upon start:
a social worker FH 80% (permanent)
with the following tasks:
- Managing civil law child protection measures and assessments on behalf of the KESB
- Advising and supporting parents, children, and adolescents on issues of cohabitation or family conflicts
- Coordinating and initiating supportive measures
- Networking with other services in the field of child and youth welfare
For this demanding role, we are looking for a committed and resilient personality. You bring:
- A university of applied sciences degree in social work or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience as a social worker in youth and family assistance as well as mandate management, ideally with experience from a kjz or the KESB
- Good knowledge in the area of social insurance
- A persuasive, goal-oriented, and assertive personality
- High social competence as well as good written and oral communication skills
- Systemic thinking ability and enjoyment of administrative tasks
