About the job
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects or project packages of medium to large scale (revamping, new works, heavy maintenance, etc.), ensuring effective coordination of internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You will provide regular and structured reporting to stakeholders to ensure transparency and good project governance.
Tasks and responsibilities
Participate in the preparation of the investment plan by identifying technical needs and proposing innovative solutions for the refinery
Take charge of the study, management, and execution of various projects within your area of expertise
Carry out specific work packages related to your specialty, whether for your own projects or in support of cross-functional projects.
Ensure operational follow-up of work on site, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, and safety rules
Ensure compliance with refinery management system processes and instructions
Strictly apply internal processes as well as laws, standards, and regulations in force to guarantee the reliability and safety of the facilities
Qualifications
Holder of an engineering degree in electrical engineering (LV/MV network), electricity, or instrumentation
A recognized project management certification is an asset
Significant professional experience in a technical, operational, or supervisory position within a similar industry
Experience in industrial operations, constraints, and specificities of the refinery sector is an asset
Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
Comfortable with computer tools
