Automation Technician – Service Electrical Technician – 80-100% – Area: Diesel Emergency Power Systems, Control Systems, Switchgear - Area of Operation: Entire Switzerland
Activities
- Carrying out commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and servicing of diesel emergency generators, distribution switchgear, and control systems.
- Troubleshooting and fault rectification on-site or via remote support for critical supply systems.
- Setup, installation, and connection of control/automation systems, control and monitoring components. - Assembly, connection, and switching work in the low voltage area as well as control/regulation technology.
- Execution of conversion, expansion, and retrofit projects on existing and new systems.
- Documentation of completed work (service report, test data, measurement protocols) and coordination with customers.
- Independent work in the field service; occasional overnight stays possible.
- Customer contact: You are the face of our company to the customer, advise on-site, represent our service, and ensure high availability of the systems.
Requirements
- Completed electrical training (e.g., electrician EFZ, automation technician EFZ)
- Professional experience in servicing electrical systems (emergency power, switchgear, automation, or similar)
- All-rounder mentality, independent and reliable working style
- Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland, driving license category B
- Customer-oriented demeanor & enjoyment of challenging technical tasks Desired: Additional higher education (e.g., technician HF, master, project manager, or comparable further training)
