Project & Provider Manager 80% (m/f/d)

As a Project & Provider Manager (m/f/d), you lead projects within the service families of Caritas Switzerland and monitor the performance of stakeholders in the project. You also manage third-party providers in the portfolio, including contract negotiations.
You support relevant roles within ICT in the strategic development of services and take responsibility for the lifecycle of selected services. In collaboration with employees from interface areas, you thus make an important contribution to ensuring that Caritas has the right IT solutions for its mission.
As a Project & Provider Manager (m/f/d), you are part of a cross-location team and orchestrate projects, third-party services, and the achievement of project goals for our ICT area. This ensures stable and reliable service delivery by third parties for our approximately 1,100 employees worldwide.
Your tasks
Provider Management:
- Strategic management of the provider framework for consistent partner management (sourcing strategy & governance)
- Operational monitoring of provider performance and management of providers in the day-to-day business of the assigned service family (performance reviews, meeting leadership)
- Management of service projects (e.g., transitions, technical upgrades, onboarding of new providers) within the assigned service family
- Professional leadership and coaching of other Project & Provider Managers in the other service families
- Validation of provider reports and comparison with agreed SLAs/XLAs
- First point of contact for escalations concerning provider service delivery
- Ensuring interoperability of processes and tools between different providers
- Coordination of technical and procedural interfaces between providers and internal teams (e.g., DevOps engineers)
- Ensuring that providers comply with the security and compliance requirements of the ICT organization (in coordination with GRCS)
Our requirements
- Several years of experience in implementing (complex) projects
- Experience working with various stakeholders in organizational contexts
- Project management training (e.g., LeanPM, agile methods, etc.)
- Deep understanding of IT sourcing, SIAM (Service Integration and Management), contract management, and ITIL 4 (especially supplier management). Understanding of SIAM structures
- Experience in designing governance frameworks and performance measurement systems
- Assertiveness, negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and solution orientation
- Communication skills
