ICT Coordinator (e-Didactics)

The Police School of Eastern Switzerland in Amriswil (PSO) has been training the police officers of the cantons of Appenzell A.Rh. and Appenzell I.Rh., Graubünden, Schaffhausen, St.Gallen, Thurgau, the Principality of Liechtenstein as well as the cities of Chur and St.Gallen for twenty years. The police school is under the Conference of Eastern Swiss Justice and Police Directors and is operationally accompanied by the police commanders of the contracting partners. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a ICT Coordinator (e-Didactics) from March 1, 2026 or by arrangement.

• ICT coordination regarding smooth collaboration with external providers as well as error-free operation/support of the internal ICT infrastructure
• First-level support for internal infrastructure and end-user workstations as well as users
• Participation in ICT projects
• Advising and further developing IT in connection with andragogical, technical, and structural issues
• Support in the implementation and management of the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle
• Digitization of learning content

• IT technician with Advanced Diploma or HF technical school
• At least 4 years of experience in ICT support, system administration (Microsoft environment), operations and applications and/or ICT coordination
• CAS E-Learning Design (e-Didactics) or willingness to obtain this diploma
• Flair for dealing with young adults in secondary education as well as with management personnel
• Very flexible, independent, loyal, proactive, and communicative
• High social competence, supportive service and team spirit
