Global Medical Manager - Women`s Health
We are hiring to strengthen for growth and are looking for an experienced Global Medical Advisor / Medical Affairs Manager for our Women`s Health Area.
The job holder will report to the related Global Medical Director of Women`s Health and will have a close cooperation with the regional and local country affiliate Medical Directors, the Innovation & Development Department and Global Marketing.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for specific activities and strategic projects within Medical Affairs for the Women`s Health Portfolio
- Support the Global Medical Director in reviewing, approving and overviewing global and regional medical / clinical studies and publications relevant to the therapeutic area
- In close collaboration with the Global and Regional Marketing Teams, plan and execute prelaunch activities of cross-regional products/brands
- With collaboration of regional medical teams run Key Opinion Leader assessment and identification projects, organize Key Opinion Leaders database, ensure regular updates, identify potential global Key Opinion Leaders, and inform internal stakeholder on potential global Key Opinion Leader candidates
- Work on medical maintenance of global brands by participating in product safety team meetings, Labeling team meetings, writing and/or reviewing scientific documents, updating product scientific library, etc.
- Collaborating with marketing team on developing promotional materials, including sales aids, web pages, digital platforms, etc. and ensuring scientific validity of the contents
- For geo-expansion of local products, update/upgrade scientific part of registration dossiers in order to get them into approvable standards in other countries.
- Conduct medical assessments on new Licensing & Acquisition opportunities for portfolio expansion
The profile
- Medical Doctor degree and/or PhD in related life sciences with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in regional or global roles
- At least 5 years of regional or global responsibility for comparable products
- Clinical research experience is an additional merit
- Operating within and cross-functional international /global geographic area
- Strong project management skills across several functional areas
- First international experience, especially in emerging markets is a plus
- Willing to work hands on and be able to think strategically at the same time
- Strong organizational skills, able to communicate on different levels and used to adapt in rapidly changing environment
- Very good English language skills are required, any other language would be an asset
