Job Description
For our dynamic and interdisciplinary team, we are looking for a committed and creative development engineer. If you have a passion for technology and want to accompany products from the first idea to series production, you are exactly right with us.
Your main tasks:
You take responsibility for the entire development cycle of oscillating MultiTool accessories and reciprocating saw blades, from the first idea to series production.
Your central task is to understand the requirements for our accessories and to develop, evaluate, and implement suitable technical concepts.
You lead preliminary development projects, conduct fundamental investigations, and develop technical interrelationships to create the basis for new products.
You contribute your expertise in creating CAD models, performing simulations, as well as planning, coordinating, and analyzing product tests.
Researching and analyzing technical information and patents is also part of your responsibilities for developing new ideas.
You work closely with international, cross-functional teams (including marketing, purchasing) and the manufacturing team in Switzerland.
You regularly present your work results and the current project progress to management and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed technical studies (mechanical engineering, production or materials engineering). Professional experience in product development and manufacturing projects, ideally in mass production.
Personality and working style: Strong analytical skills and a systematic, independent working style, "hands-on" mentality and interest in manual activities, strong communication skills and pronounced teamwork ability, high solution orientation and creativity.
Experience and know-how: Experience in (mechanical) product development, preferably also in project management and in an international environment, experience with agile methods such as Design Thinking, knowledge in machining, stamping, or forming technology.
Languages: Fluent German and English skills.
Willingness to travel: Regularly within Switzerland (approx. 20%), rarely worldwide.
