We are looking for reinforcement for our marketing team. We train the tech talents of tomorrow and need your creativity to tell our stories and inspire our community. Are you ready to start as a Visual & Social Media Storyteller?
Your role: You are the creative force behind the visual and content communication of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. With your sense for aesthetics, storytelling, and social media trends, you develop appealing content, manage our social media channels, and contribute significantly to a lively and CD-compliant appearance.
Your main tasks:
- You develop the content strategy in coordination with the team and implement it operationally.
- You design, create, and prepare target group-specific content (text, image, graphics, video) for various digital channels (website, blog, newsletter, social media especially LinkedIn as well as Instagram and TikTok including community management) and print media.
- You design and edit graphics, photos, and videos for marketing purposes and event documentation.
- You ensure a consistent and CD-compliant visual appearance across all channels.
- You conduct user and topic research; you monitor and analyze content and social media performance for continuous optimization of content and formats.
- You identify relevant social media trends and contribute creative ideas.
- You actively network within the organization for content planning/creation and support events.
Your profile:
- You have training or studies in communication, marketing, graphic design, multimedia production, or a comparable qualification.
- You are an open and experimental personality and have proven experience in content creation (text, image, video, AI) as well as graphic design for digital and print media.
- You master the relevant digital tools and have experience in photography and video production/editing.
- You have expertise in managing social media channels, community management, and visual storytelling.
- You have strong editorial skills and confident German language skills in speaking and writing; good English skills complete your profile.
- You have experience with content management systems and social media management tools.
- You bring knowledge in user research and analysis of content and social media performance.
- You have a creative sense for aesthetics, design, brand tone, and current trends.
- You enjoy trying out the latest AI tools to support content creation and analysis.
- A proactive, independent, reliable, and team-oriented working style characterizes you.
- You are flexible and can create content outside usual office hours if needed, for example at events or current happenings.
