Business Analyst (m/f)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst with strong technical awareness

and proven skills in IBMi systems to join our IBMi - Java/Spring Boot development team. You will play a key role

at the interface between business and technical teams to ensure the quality, coherence, and performance of delivered solutions.

• Gather and analyze business needs to transform them into clear, coherent, and actionable technical specifications for the development team

• Technically investigate the existing environment (Cobol, RPG, Java Spring/Boot, REST APIs, integrations, data flows) to propose scalable solutions

• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional test cases in close collaboration with developers, testers, and stakeholders

• Define inter-application integration points in collaboration with architects and technical experts

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)

• Maintain functional and technical documentation (API contracts, data mapping, business models)

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis and delivery processes

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments (IBMi, APIs, system integration)

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON models, HTTP calls, response statuses

• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, architecture diagrams, or code (Cobol, Java, Swagger/OpenAPI…)

• Experience writing user stories and test cases in an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban)

• Autonomy, rigor, and analytical mindset

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

• Experience or training in mainframe development and object-oriented development

(Java or .NET), even if the position does not require coding

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a software development context

• Comfort in complex and distributed technical environments

• Ability to challenge requirements and bridge business needs with technical constraints
