The Park Retirement Home is located in the heart of the cantonal capital Frauenfeld and is nestled in a beautiful park area. In our regionally rooted center, around 250 people find a loving home with individual care and support. Guests for short stays and day care are also warmly welcome. Together with our approximately 260 employees and over 40 trainees, we give our best every day to ensure that our residents feel comfortable and at home.
These are your tasks:
- Daily production and plating of about 600 meals according to the latest nutritional principles for our residents, employees, and guests
- Promoting a positive working atmosphere in your own area as well as in interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments
- Co-responsible for efficient inventory management
- Compliance with the HACCP concept and occupational safety guidelines
- Proper and professional organization of work within the kitchen service
What you bring with you:
- Completed training as a Cook EFZ with several years of professional experience
- Diet, hospital, and nursing home cook experience is an advantage
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Willingness for occasional work outside normal working hours
- Understanding of the needs of our elderly residents
