Purpose
As a Supply Chain Planner, you make sure our vacuum technology materials are available on time. You keep supply flows running smoothly, monitor supplier performance, and optimize inventory. Your work helps our production run without delays and ensures customers receive their products on schedule.
Role
In this role, you will:
- Plan and coordinate material supply for production
- Release and follow up on purchase orders
- Track and ensure supplier delivery dates (OTD)
- Handle escalation when delays or issues occur
- Work closely with production planning, order management, and suppliers
- Monitor and improve supplier performance
- Maintain accurate material master data in MS Dynamics 365
- Optimize inventory levels and supply chain parameters
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency projects
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Buyer)
- 3+ years of experience in material planning, procurement, or purchasing
- Knowledge of inventory management and KPI reporting
- Strong MS Excel skills and ERP experience (ideally MS Dynamics 365)
- Structured, analytical, and well organized
- Very good German and good English
- Experience in supplier management and international collaboration
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- First project management experience
- Negotiation skills
