Accounting Specialist (a)

The Collection team of the Services department is responsible canton-wide for the collection of withholding tax, manages the withholding tax and federal tax accounting, and settles these accounts with the federal government, other cantons, and municipalities. The team also processes remission requests. Due to a retirement, we are looking for a suitable person to succeed in this exciting role.
Your tasks
- You will manage the withholding tax and federal tax accounting with commitment and be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- You will settle withholding tax and federal tax with various stakeholders and serve as a competent contact person for them.
- You will reliably handle the payment transactions for withholding tax and federal tax.
- You will independently take responsibility in dunning, credit management, and arranging payment agreements.
- You will actively participate in software renewal projects and independently develop new processes and controlling instruments.
- You will support the team openly with other tax collection tasks.
Your profile
- You have many years of professional experience as an accounting clerk or specialist, ideally in tax collection.
- You have successfully completed further training in accounting.
- You are a communicative, cooperative, and IT-savvy personality who enjoys working independently and in a team.
- You enjoy a varied, dynamic range of tasks and are willing to take on responsibility.
