Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for welcoming and guiding guests from their arrival at the hotel. As a Valet/ Porter, you are an ambassador of the luxury service offered to our clientele. Your daily tasks will be as follows:

• Take charge of their vehicle and deliver their luggage to the room
• Run guest errands and deliver packages to rooms
• Provide information to anyone in the immediate vicinity of the hotel
• Assist guests with their departure from the hotel
• Ensure the circulation of all vehicles around the hotel by smoothing traffic flow
• Run errands outside the hotel at the request of the reception services
• Ensure the follow-up and arrival of taxi or chauffeur-driven car requests
• Ensure the delivery of newspapers
• Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel entrance, exterior surroundings, parking lot, and its access
• Keep the luggage storage area clean, organize stock, and perform necessary restocking

Qualifications

PROFILE SOUGHT

• Experience: You have experience in a similar position in a 5* / Palace establishment.
• Personality: Reactivity, discretion, and a good team spirit are the main qualities sought for this position.
• Languages: Must speak, read, and write French and English. A third language would be a plus.
• Availability: As soon as possible. Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
