Head of Facility Management 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

Our previous Head of Facility Management is retiring after many successful years. As of June 1, 2026, we are looking for you: a committed leader who not only ensures operations but also actively sets new impulses and sees themselves as a service provider.
Your tasks:
- You lead the Facility Management department and coordinate with your team the smooth and efficient building operations
- You plan the provision of space, infrastructure, and equipment proactively
- You understand how important safety, health protection, and catering are for the over 800 employees
- You procure services and consumables as needed and economically
Your profile:
- Advanced professional training in facility management or a related field
- Several years of experience in leadership, project, and provider management, ideally in an administrative environment
- Know-how in construction, building and media technology, safety, as well as office and workplace equipment
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders
- Strong sense of responsibility, organizational strength, and interconnected, economic thinking
- High resilience, initiative, and solution-oriented working style
