- Your focus is on inpatient care in Pfäfers and outpatient care in Sargans.
- You take over the professional leadership of the interdisciplinary team in a partnership dual leadership with the nursing ward management in Pfäfers.
- You lead the focus area of geriatric and neuropsychiatry with outpatient services, day clinic, and memory clinic in Sargans.
- You independently and case-responsibly conduct treatments of outpatient patients in individual, group, and family settings including documentation, correspondence, and service recording.
- You ensure therapeutic and medical care together with assistant physicians and psychologists.
- You maintain and promote networking with surrounding nursing and retirement homes and take over ward rounds as well as consultative and supervisory requests.
- You accompany, nurture, and promote the assigned assistant physicians and assistant psychologists through structured training and regular supervision.
- Together with the senior physician team and nursing management, you continuously develop concepts and the orientation of the wards and locations in Sargans and Pfäfers.
- You enjoy variety and therefore find working at two locations, which are very close to each other, interesting.
- You participate in the clinic-wide background service (2–3 weeks per year). You also have the option to work exclusively inpatient at the Pfäfers clinic or exclusively outpatient in Sargans.
- You are a specialist physician in psychiatry or in training and are interested in the focus area of geriatric psychiatry (we are happy to support you in obtaining the title).
- You have a professional practice license from the canton of St. Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
- You bring experience in treating psychiatric patients or in geriatrics or neurology.
- You are committed, like to take responsibility, feel comfortable in a multiprofessional team, and appreciate collaboration on equal footing.
- You are a flexible, team-oriented, communicative, and socially competent personality with motivation for further development.
- You enjoy working with patients and a recovery-oriented attitude is a matter of course for you.
- You have very good German skills (at least C1).
