Diaconis operates three business areas: Living and Care in Old Age, Palliative Care, and Vocational Integration. Since its founding in 1844, Diaconis has been committed as a non-profit organization to ensuring that people in fragile life situations are cared for, nurtured, and supported according to their needs. Our team consists of around 300 employees at several locations in the city of Bern, Ostermundigen, and Biel.

The Diaconis Work Integration department supports young people and adults in their professional (re)integration. It is a service provider of three labor market measures (AMM) on behalf of the Canton of Bern (Office for Unemployment Insurance AVA): coaching adults and apprenticeship seekers and placing temporary assignments in companies in the primary labor market while simultaneously supporting professional orientation and the application process. Furthermore, migrants as well as persons without unemployment insurance and job seekers with health restrictions are supported in their professional integration. Diaconis Work Integration offers its services at the two locations Ostermundigen and Biel.

Your tasks with us

• You independently conduct job coaching and accompany your participants from triage to successful integration
• You maintain and expand our network of employers in the Bern & Biel region and specifically place suitable assignments
• You are active in acquiring companies and bring your knowledge of the regional labor market into daily work
• You take over case management and administration of your files (reports, correspondence, documentation in the digital case management system)
• You work closely with RAV personnel consultants, application specialists, and the internal coordination office
• You contribute your own ideas and benefit from an experienced team that supports, inspires, and thinks ahead with you

What you bring with you

• A certificate in job coaching recognized in Switzerland or the willingness to obtain one
• A qualification at EFZ level
• Several years of professional experience and enjoyment in contact with people
• Current knowledge of the regional labor market and ideally an existing professional network
• Communication skills, empathy, and organizational talent
• Confident handling of digital tools and enjoyment of structured documentation
