Project Manager Engineering Brig
Our "Engineering Brig" team supports numerous standard gauge and narrow gauge railways in Switzerland and assists with international projects. Whether mountain or flatland railway – we lead, plan, design, and coordinate projects from the initial customer idea to commissioning after construction completion. Our daily work includes, among other things, on-site measurements, the creation of technical sketches for internal component developments, as well as writing reports for approval procedures at the Federal Office of Transport. Administrative management of our own projects is, of course, also part of the job. We are looking for reinforcement at the Brig location.
- Management of the design, planning, and execution of overhead line systems
- Creation, coordination, and supervision of plans, drawings, technical documents, offers, and documentation
- Inspections and surveys of existing overhead line systems
- Technical site management and coordination of construction site concerns as an interface between planning and execution
- Coordination of customer orders and interface management including general customer contact
- Project evaluation, project controlling, and reporting
- Completed vocational training in a technical field, ideally with a degree from a university of applied sciences/university/ETH (engineering, electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering)
- Experience in project management and leading technical projects is an advantage
- Proficient use of MS Office programs, CAD knowledge is an advantage
- Very good German language skills, French skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally, precise and independent working style, and willingness to learn new things
- Negotiation skills, communication skills, organizational strength, assertiveness, solution-oriented, committed, motivated, and a team player
