The vision of Consumer & Market Insights is to make human centricity a competitive advantage for the Maison L'Occitane en Provence. We ensure to put consumers at the heart of our reflections, to build brand uniqueness and differentiation and secure long-term growth. We drive an external and brand building focused culture in the organization and help building brand uniqueness and differentiation and secure long-term growth.
We are looking for a Consumer and Market Insights Projects Manager for 9 months fixed-term contract (maternity leave replacement). The role is reporting to the Global Consumer & Market Insights Director. You will work on the global brand marketing initiatives for L’Occitane en Provence and help the global marketing teams to make strategic choices and data-driven decisions based on consumer and market insights.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Brand L’Occitane en Provence :
- Ensure that global marketing initiatives across all product categories are rooted in consumer needs and ensure that the global initiatives are fit-for-use in the key markets
- Project lead on all quantitative and qualitative consumer research projects working with external partners and internal self-service tools
- Drive the adoption and capability building via a new test & learn tools in core markets
- Partner with Marketing teams in core markets to ensure implementation of recommendations based on research insights
- Partner with the global Revenue Growth Team on data analysis on existing customer data to fully understand the customer lifecycle and purchase behaviour to identify business opportunities on recruitment (trade in) and bridging (trade up & across)
- Continuously infuse consumer-centric decision-making across the organization, with the CMI team as a centre of excellence for consumer and market insights
- Ensure data excellency within the organization (capability building, data reliability, data accessibility)
HOW YOU CAN FIT :
- +5’ years of experience in consumer insights and marketing, preferably in the beauty industry and preferably in a regional or global role
- Strong skills on data analysis and statistics, ability to simplify and visualize complex data from trends, market data or research into actionable recommendations
- Strategic thinking: ability to zoom out and seeing opportunities at a broader scale
- High level of maturity, excellent communication and influencing skills across organizational levels
- Well-balanced mindset between analytical skills and story-telling capabilities
- Problem-solving attitude and can-do working approach
- Fluency in English; a good French base is a plus
- Strong team spirit and ability to interact constructively with people at all levels and from diverse cultures
