Contribute
- Take over the succession of the retiring Head Physician of Shoulder Orthopedics as well as personnel and professional leadership of the department
- Ensure and further develop medical quality, standards, and guidelines in the field of shoulder orthopedics in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Responsibility for the training, further education, and continuing education of employees (Orthopedics C2, Traumatology ST2)
- Perform surgical procedures independently and participate in medical training
- Establish and lead a specialized shoulder consultation as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and consultation activities
- Active participation in the orthopedic-traumatological service as well as in interdisciplinary projects and boards
Bring
- Specialist title in orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system with proven specialization in shoulder surgery; solid experience in traumatology
- Broad surgical experience in the shoulder and elbow area, especially in reconstructive and endoprosthetic shoulder surgery as well as in the treatment of complex injuries
- Several years of leadership experience
- Good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and the tariff system (especially TARDOC/DRG)
- Active networking in healthcare as well as a good professional network in orthopedics/traumatology
- Integrative, communicative, and cooperative personality with joy in interdisciplinary collaboration and short decision-making paths
- Strong social skills, high patient orientation, and professional appearance
- High commitment to training, further education, and continuing education as well as enthusiasm for teaching and promoting young medical professionals
