The Technical & Event Services (TES) are the central service unit of ZHdK for events, specialist infrastructure, and AV technology.
As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Multimedia Electronics Technician / Event Technician, 60-80%
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the setup and dismantling of media technology at exhibitions in the Museum of Design
- Preparing media for playback on media players (e.g., BrightSign)
- Setup and dismantling of the ZHdK diploma exhibition
- Setup and dismantling of lighting, video, stage, and sound technology
- Monitoring and controlling lighting, video, and sound technology during events
- Locating and resolving technical malfunctions
- Performing technical maintenance work
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as an event specialist EFZ or multimedia electronics technician
- Extensive professional experience in museum and event technology
- Solid expertise in video and lighting technology
- Reliable, precise, and practically proven working method
- Willingness to work flexible hours (3-4 evening shifts per month and occasional weekend shifts)
- Very good oral and written German and English skills
- Workdays Tuesday to Thursday are mandatory
