This is how you ensure electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you are responsible for the technical design of high-voltage lines within the framework of network construction projects in the Grid Projects department. You take on the following tasks:
- Ensuring quality in the implementation of high-voltage lines: from preliminary project to realization
- Supporting project management with all technical questions throughout the entire project process
- Your most important tool: PLS-CADD (Power Lines Systems)
- Creating and checking PLS-CADD models. Ensuring compliance with Swissgrid specifications
- Specifying and evaluating the procurement of services from planners, trades, and equipment
- Preparing preliminary project dossiers including technical clarifications, expert opinions, ecology and occupational safety management, as well as preliminary clarifications with authorities
- Reviewing the work of external planners and service providers regarding compliance with standards, economic, ecological, and regulatory requirements, as well as applicable relevant safety regulations
- Possible locations: Aarau or Prilly
This is how you make a difference
For this position, we are looking for a dynamic person with very good communication and organizational skills and a strong team spirit. You bring the following:
- Completed engineering degree BSc/MSc (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar)
- Several years of experience in planning, project design, or maintenance of line construction projects in the transmission network
- Experience with the software package Tower / PLS-CADD or motivation to learn and apply it in a short time
- Used to structuring tasks or work packages and enabling and supporting your project partners through clear and effective communication
- Knowledge of Swiss regulations and standards in line construction and mastery of the methodology for implementing complex and multi-layered infrastructure projects along the SIA phases
- Very good German, French, and English skills (German or French business fluent, good knowledge of the other languages)
